I followed the instructions above but when I got to add the driver, the HP a network printer was not listed and I could not find my old HP XP disk to install it. It found my HP on my home network, it loaded the drivers and set it up. When it finished, it said I needed to restart my computer to finish the install. Not sure I wanted to shutdown my computer, I clicked "restart now" button on the HP software install screen. If you have a network printer that has XP install software, try it.
